Dear Saints,
God's Word says we have a choice. Philippians 4:8 says,"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is fair, whatever is pure, whatever is acceptable, whatever is commendable, if there is anything of excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy-keep thinking about these things." Folks, if we practice this, we will not fear what the world fears. Futhermore, because we focus on what is Good,we find that when confronted with the unacceptable--that which deviates from what God calls us to--- we can recognize it and PRAY! The world does not have that discernment.
Folks, we have been asked to pay particular attention to prayer on April 30th --that's today---for historical reasons. TODAY--Please pray for the continued preservation of the right to freely worship and to declare the full Word of God without restriction or penalty in our nation in the Name of Christ Jesus!
Also, I renew my request that each church, church school, and all other facilities that operate conciously in recognition of the Sovereignty of God, to pray for our nation on Thursday, May 7th, the National Day of Prayer.
God's Word is clear, Saints!
We, the Church, must humble ourselves, pray, seek God's face, turn from our wicked ways for our nation to be healed. God's Word gives us the remedy to our current adverse situations and their diabolical spin-offs. Early on, Christ Jesus gave us a preventative strategy when he gave us the Great Commission. Remember! We were to make disciples, not just converts. We were to spread the Gospel, not just become spiritually glutonous. And,-- so... now here we are!
So, this is my prayer, the one for which I seek agreement.
Dear Heavenly Father,
May the Resurrection Power of GOD be evident throughout the entire Body of Christ on May 7th! May it be so undeniably evident that it ignites a complete turn around in the direction our nation takes. May we immediately begin to operate as ONE NATION UNDER THE GOD OF THE HOLY BIBLE, and do so until the return of Christ. I plead that the blood of Christ Jesus saturate our land and everybody on it. Let all those who do not know you cry out to be saved, Jesus! Let, we the Church, become workers who will be found approved, rightly communicating the Holy Bible. And, may salvation and sanctification be complete.
Dear LORD, I am asking for revival the likes of which has never been seen before on planet earth.
And, in this year of Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus 2009--May YOU Arise, Oh GOD! May YOU get all the glory for what YOU alone can do through YOUR Church in behalf of our nation. Let Your resurrection power ripple throughout the entire United States beginning right here on May 7th in Tidewater, Virginia! And, then let that same move of the Holy Spirit become contagious and spread thoughout the world. This is my prayer in the matchless name of Jesus, the One Who Was, And Is, And Is to Come! Amen!

Skeptics exist who have completely given up on our nation. They will even point to the book of Revelation and say, "Aha! You see. There is no hint of the United States mentioned. It will have fallen." I take a different view --that is if we all really do decide to do what Jesus said which is to make disciples of all men. If we just do as He commissioned us to do, I can see the absence of the United States in the book of Revelation as a positive by-product of revival which is then followed by the rapture. Much of our population could be with us looking down from the mezzanine if we do our job right. Let's pray that the Holy Spirit go before us to prepare hearts to hear of God's love. And, then...Let's spread the Gospel, Saints, so that the bulk of the population of the United States gets saved and then at the appointed time raptured leaving behind only a small number at most -- those with spirits that simply prefer darkness and death rather than light and life. Let's do our part by introducing folks to Christ Jesus. Then, let HE who began a good work in US bring that good work to completion.
