Saints!
Our dear Sister, Esther Levens, wishes to call our attention to a number of issue-filled events occuring this month. This is time to put our faith into action. We must urgently pray for all in authority, from the "church house to the White House." Additionally, we must recognize our role in the world, not of the world. More about that in future entries. For now, please read the announcement that Esther has for us. And, you may wish to follow-up with an email to her. Esther's contact information appears at the end of this article.
One more thing, Saints!
September 11, 2001 was not simply a "tragedy," it was "outrageous." One journalist caught the true gravity of the situation by recognizing that calling such an incident a "Tragedy" yields an inappropriate response of mere sorrow. A better description of events would be "murderous" for which "outrage" is a more appropriate response.
For those who object to my rendition of events, all I can say is "mild and gentle" Jesus was "outraged" when He overturned tables of the money changers.
Outrage requires prayer accompanied by decisive action. You can quote me on this. Or better yet,...,What is that famous quote? I think it goes like this,
"All that needs to happen for evil to succeed is for good people to do nothing!"
If you think I am in error about this, simply pray for me. And, understand that my outrage is with the forces of evil that seemingly can run rampant unchecked, first in one form, then in another. The people involved are mere pawns. We will pray for people, but we must also act decisively to forstall every form of assault in every configuration in which it occurs.
Hey, Remember! Greater is HE Who is in us, than he who is in the world. AMEN!
Pray and Act! Amen!
The Action required is passing on the information that you have. Please don't sit on this, Saints!
It's time to "Fish or Cut Bait, Y'all"
Pay attention to the dates I have highlighted below, Folks!
Pray! And, then pass this information on so others will know.
Still Outraged!
That's right!

DEMOCRACY UNDER ATTACK
by Esther Levens
The month of September has a trail of historical events that have endangered Western Civilization. Two events are significant in establishing terrorism as a weapon:
September 1970 – "Black September" – the Palestinian uprising and all out revolution against the government of Jordan. The result was the murder of thousands of Palestinians, the expulsion of thousands more from Jordan, and the founding of the Black September Organization ultimately responsible for numerous acts of terror. The Black September Organization became a Palestinian Movement and carried out the Munich Olympics Massacre in September 1972 of 11 Israeli athletes, shocking the world and setting the stage for a legacy of terror.
September 2001 – Terrorism was brought home to the US with the September 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and United Airlines flight 93. It appears that the Obama administration wants to erase these indelible images, by changing the focus from honoring the victims of September 11 to instituting a so-called “National Day of Service.” This would replace any reminder that terrorism is alive and well in the radical Islamic world.
This is what we have to look forward to in September 2009. These events could prove to be pivotal during this month of September.
September 12-13, 2009 An "End the Occupation Conference” in Chicago featuring pro-Palestinian speakers, whose connection with President Obama are widely acknowledged, will speak to “the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation.” The speakers, who are also associated with radical Hamas and Fatah, have as their stated theme: “We aim to change those US policies that both sustain Israel`s 42-year occupation of the Palestinian West Bank,Gaza, and East Jerusalem, and deny equal rights for all.”
September 26,2009 President Obama will address at the United Nations and offer his vision of the "Two State Solution."
September 19 marks the beginning of the Jewish New Year – 5770 – a time of reflection on our lives and our close relationships with people and circumstances that most affect the quality of our world.
It is a very fitting time, therefore, to consider calling public attention to the dangers that lie before us in this fateful month of September during this new year of the Jewish calendar. But it is also useful to look back and gauge the impact and the lessons learned from other previous events.
Esther Levens, Editor's Note: Tuesday September 01, 2009
On September 1, 1970, Fatah, led by Yasser Arafat and a younger Mahmoud Abbas, unsuccessfully attempted to assassinate King Hussein of Jordan several times in one day. Six days later, Fatah originated the first coordinated plane hijacking taking control of 3 commercial airliners, SwissAir, TWA and Pan Am, re-routing them to Dawson's Field in Jordan. An Israeli El Al flight was spared.
The "Black September Organization" shocked the world with other atrocities, among them the kidnapping and televised murder of 11 Israeli Olympiads during the 1972 Munich Olympics. Fatah's roots of Jihad and terror tactics firmly took hold in a union of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), together with Fatah and PFLP controlled by Yasser Arafat, who was, ironically, later awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
The western world could not begin to comprehend the unprecedented scope of Islamic terror groups in their all-out assault on civilian population centers. Similar attacks in the US (World Trade Center 1993 & 9-11, 2001), Spain, England, Russia, India, France and Israel help the world to understand how Israel is at the frontline of this war on terror and that Democracy is still under attack by radical Islamic ideologies.
This month Democracy Under Attack, a project of UCI, presents a special study on this phenomena entitled Terror in September - Past, Present & Future.
