PRAY.
This is crucial, Folks!
What is at stake is the very foundation of America as we have known it. The approach underway is an attempt to control every aspect of our lives. This legislation would open the door to Totalitarianism.
Totalitarism means total allegiance to government rather than God.
Totalitarism is "a form of government in which the political authority exercises absolute and centralized control over all aspects of life, the individual is subordinated to the state, and opposing political and cultural expression is suppressed: 'A totalitarian regime crushes all autonomous institutions in its drive to seize the human soul.'" The result will be a mandatory reverence for the "State" instead of God. This is a direct assault on the premise that "We the People... are endowed by our Creator with unalienable rights." Passage of this legislation in any form is saying, "We the People ...are only allowed rights as defined by government, not be God."
THIS HEALTH CARE REFORM BILL MUST NOT PASS THE SENATE IN ANY CONFIGURATION.
THIS BILL IS NOT JUST ABOUT US. THIS IS ABOUT OUR REVERENCE FOR THE GOD OF THE BIBLE, THE FACT THAT GOD ALONE IS SOVEREIGN OVER THE AFFAIRS OF HUMANITY.
Please communicate this loud and clear to the SENATE. Call and email relatives in other states and have them contact the Senate. Pray that each Senator will fall under the heavy conviction of Almighty God and block any possibility of passage. May the wheels of the chariots that carry this bill fall off. And, may the whole process be swallowed up by the tide of God-given Wisdom and common sense.
And, we want to be absolutely clear here...
We are praying to GOD of the Holy Bible Made Manifest in Christ Jesus, the KING of Kings!
Let's act and pray on the basis of what we know to be the TRUTH.
