"No More Night" Sung by David Phelps Compliments of YouTube

No More Night is Good News, Church!

Let's share the Gospel of Christ Jesus so that hearts may be changed just as
Saleem's was. Man-made initiatives alone will not work.
Only by unobscured revelation of Jesus Christ will our enemies accept "good news" as "good." If they accept, former enemies may be transformed into our brothers. We can't humanly make this so, but Christ Jesus can.

Do we have a role to play in this process?

Yes.

In addition to verbally sharing the Gospel, we are to do what appears in the familiar passage, 2 Chronicles 7:14. That passage outlines what must be done in order that we who call on the name of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will not block the world's ability to see and believe in Christ Jesus. It is important that our actions and attitudes not contradict God's message. When such contradiction occurs, what we are really doing is taking God's Name in vain. I know. I am susceptible to such contradictions as perhaps you are. I have to be on my guard constantly and repent.

You all remember 2 Chronicles 7:14. It says, "If my people who are called by My Name [that's us,Church]-- humble themselves and pray and seek My Face and turn from their wicked [meaning twisted] ways, I [God] would hear from heaven and heal their land."

Wow!

What a great defense strategy in the hands of the CHURCH!

Let's see. That means independent of what others do, if we, the Church:

1. Humble ourselves - that is, decrease while God increases;
2. Pray - which means we unceasingly hold two-way conversations with Almighty God;
3. Seek God's face - that is, become so filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit that the light of His countenance becomes transparently visible through us as we go about our daily pursuits; and, as a consequence,
4. Turn from our wicked ways -- meaning repent--reversing direction to the point of rightly aligning ourselves with God in both word and deed so that the enemy of souls will not have reasons to blaspheme the Name of God;

Then, God Himself said that He would heal our land. Folks, for us that means healing for the United States of America. It's not too late!

Let's think this through, Saints!

What does this mean for how you and I conduct our lives today and each day until Christ's return? Perhaps, such transformation in us, the church, should be incorporated into our prayers for our nation.

While you and I listen to this song--"No More Night," may such a change occur in the Body of Christ beginning with me and you.

God's word is True, Saints!

If this change occurs in us, it will make all the difference in the world.

Hallelujah!
Let's live life with Christ's Return in Mind.
