Buried within current healthcare proposed legislation is a provision for making that legislation unalterable.

Where have we seen the use of the Law of the Medes and Persians before?
Answer: In the Holy Bible, in the book of Daniel where those government advisors to the ruling government authority wanted to get rid of the Bible believing government official, Daniel.[The Lion's Den Sentence could not be overturned]. Those jealous advisors thought they could use prayer as a way to eliminate Daniel because Daniel routinely and openly prayed to God. The jealousy stemmed from the fact that Daniel's God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob consistently gave Daniel the Wisdom needed to govern well. The advisors were jealous. It is in that context that the exercise of the Law of the Medes and Persians was insisted upon.
“Now, O king, ... sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians which altereth not.”- Daniel vi. 8.
We know that even though the law was executed, the desired outcome did not happen.
In fact, Daniel survived to govern even for a third administration.
Dear Saints, the law of the Medes and the Persians did not take by surprise the One True Living God, the One made manifest as Christ Jesus, Our Lord. Nor, does the current, modern day attempt of use via healthcare reform take Him by surprise either.
It will be interesting to see just how the God of the Holy Bible will get glory from scenarios we are witnessing. On a related note, turning to the White House, we now see "god-speech" also taking place to somehow construe that God endorses current healthcare actions.
Understand this. God Himself has said that He has elevated His Word, the Holy Bible, over His Name. He says in the Holy Bible,in Psalm 138:2:
“For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.”
God does not undermine His Word.
What does all this mean for us?
Well, it means that anycavalier use of the term "God" can be recognized so that there will be no mistake who is actually operating according to His commands. We can recognize when authorities are acting contrary to God's directive by examining the fruit, the actual actions taken in the name of "God," including any attribution given to God while concurrently defying God's Word.
This cavalier use of the word "God" is what we are hearing today out of the highest government office in the land. We know this is cavalier "god-speech" because the following Biblical Laws are being proposed for violation as a part of that "Thank God" we heard out of the White House earlier today.
1. Stealing by increasing tax burden beyond anything that can be paid for.
2. Lying about affordability of this bill.
3. Murdering by government funding of abortion.
4. Taking the LORD's Name in Vain by attributing God's blessing on the above crimes.
5. Initiating state-directed idolatry through totalitarian enslavement using healthcare as a justifying vehicle.
All of the above adds up to public officials, our employees, calling Good, "Evil" and calling Evil, "Good."
To that, God says:
"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter."
Isaiah 5:20
It is not over yet.
May we as a nation see Our LORD's deliverance.
In Christ Jesus' name and for His sake I pray.
Amen.
