Psalm 26:1-12 says,
Vindicate me,O LORD,for I have led a blameless life; I have trusted in the LORD without wavering.
Test me, O LORD, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; for Your love is ever before me, and I walk continually in Your Truth.
I do not sit with deceitful men, nor do I consort with hypocrites; I abhor the assembly of evildoers and refuse to sit with the wicked.
I wash my hands in innocence and go about Your altar, O LORD, proclaiming aloud Your praise and telling of all Your wonderful deeds.
I love the house where You live, O LORD, the place where Your glory dwells.
Do not take away my soul along with sinners, my life with bloodthristy men, in whose hands are wicked schemes, whose right hands are full of bribes.
But I lead a blameless life; redeem me and be merciful to me.
My feet stand on level ground; in the great assembly I will praise the LORD.
Dear LORD,
Thank You for Your Word, the Holy Bible. Thank You that your "ordinances are sure and altogether righteous." Thank You that by Your Word Your servant is indeed warned. I have not led a blameless life. I know this from reading Your Word. I am so thankful that You saved a wretch like me. So, LORD, today I again ask that You forgive me for my concious and unconcious sins and cleanse me so that I too may join the psalmist and pronounce [in Truth] this psalm over my life. Cleanse me, LORD, in the blood of Christ Jesus. Put a righteous spirit in me, one that readily conforms to Your Word, a spirit mirroring the character of Your Son, my Lord, Christ Jesus.
LORD, I pray this prayer in Christ's Name, for Your Glory. And, what I pray for myself, I pray also for the entire body of Christ. Clean us up, LORD, so that we may become people of integrity. Let there be no difference between what we say and what we do, with what we do being exactly in line with what Your written Word, the Holy Bible, says.
Please LORD, let us cease to be a source of stumbling for the lost and the young in Christ. In that way, we then will eliminate reasons for Your enemies to blaspheme Your name.
You know the condition of my heart and life. I take consolation in the fact that nothing is impossible for You, Jesus. Having received Your Grace, I am eternally thankful for both the covering and the cleansing power of Your Blood, Jesus. Your rod and Your staff do comfort me.
Thank You!
I praise YOU, my Savior and my God!
Steadfast.
Standing on Level Ground.
You Leadeth Me.
Hallelujah!
AMEN!
